Guarantee

This contract is written for the protection of the breeder, the buyer and foremost the puppy. To the best of our knowledge, the puppy is in good health at the time of the sale. The puppy has been examined by a licensed veterinarian.

The buyer has 72 hrs (Sundays and holidays excluded) from the time you receive the puppy to have it examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice. If at that time a life-threatening defect is found, we will replace it with another puppy of equal or better quality puppy as soon as one becomes available. NO CASH REFUND will be given. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs of the replacement of the puppy. Our vet MUST confirm the diagnosis before a replacement puppy can be discussed. If a replacement puppy is desired the existing puppy must be euthanized with a full autopsy report mailed to me.

This guarantee does not cover coccidiosis, giardia, or acquired worms as we have treated the puppy for these and they can be easily retreated should these conditions occur. Also not covered is hypoglycemia, since this is a management issue which is the responsibility of you, the new owner. Puppies with ingunial or umbilical hernias will not be fixed prior to leaving us. Our vet recommends if they still have the hernia at the time of spay/neuter, they be fixed at that time by the buyer. We, the seller, assume no responsibility for the puppy after it leaves our premises for vet bills, landlord disapprovals, allergies to animals, bonding problems, behavioral problems, housebreaking or any other reason. Puppy Place cannot be held liable for any of the above conditions.
